What does 'KULA' mean?

KULA is inspired by the word’s meaning in both Sanskrit and Pacific Island languages. In Sanskrit, it represents "community" or "clan," emphasizing connection and belonging. Similarly, in Pacific cultures, it symbolizes the exchange of gifts to strengthen bonds and relationships. Together, these ideas reflect our mission to spread kindness, joy, and meaningful connections through thoughtful gifting.

We ship all orders via Swiss Post with next-day delivery to ensure freshness.

Saturday and Sunday are rest days for us which means there are no deliveries Sunday or Monday.
Why is it so expensive to send an 8-Box?
Why is it so expensive to send an 8-Box?
We get it—shipping costs can be frustrating, and we want to be upfront about why our 8-brownie box has a higher shipping fee than the 4-box.
Our 4-brownie box is designed to fit within A-Post Plus requirements (under 500g and 5cm in height), making it a more budget-friendly shipping option.
However, our 8-brownie box is larger and falls into the standard parcel category, which means it can’t be sent via A-Post Plus. Since we want your brownies to arrive fresh and fast, we use PostPac Priority for next-day delivery across Switzerland.

- We don’t add any margin to shipping costs—what Swiss Post charges is what you pay.
- This ensures your brownies arrive fresh and in perfect condition, just as we intended.

We do our best to ensure your KULA box arrives on the selected date. While Swiss Post is highly reliable, occasional delays can occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

At KULA, we believe joy should be easy to share—for everyone. That’s why we created our 4-box as a lighter, mailer-friendly option. Unlike our 8 and 12-boxes, which come in keepable magnetic boxes, the 4-box is designed to lower mailing costs, making it more affordable to send a little happiness. Because we believe everyone should be able to share joy—it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

The Occasions are something we are currently testing to see if there is a demand for Occasion sleeves. If we feel that there is demand and that our customers would also like to have other quantity options then we will definitely consider introducing more options in the future!

Absolutely! All our baked goods are made fresh to order and shipped the next day to maintain their quality.

We currently offer a vegan option and are happy to discuss any other dietary requirements.
Where do your ingredients come from?

We pride ourselves on using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, including flour from Altbachmühle, eggs from S’Lädeli, and chocolate from Felchlin. There are some products we can't guarantee to be from Switzerland including dates, nuts and maple syrup used in some of the different flavours. However we are always looking for ways to localise as much as we possibly can! Find out more about our suppliers here.
What is the shelf life of your brownies?
What is the shelf life of your brownies?
Our brownies are best enjoyed fresh, and we recommend storing them in the fridge where they will stay delicious for up to 7 days from the day you receive them. If you'd like to keep them for longer, brownies can be frozen. To freeze, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or foil, then place them in an airtight container or freezer bag. They can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you're ready to enjoy them, simply thaw at room temperature or warm in the oven for a freshly baked taste. For the best taste and texture, we recommend enjoying them within the recommended time if possible.

Yes, we offer handwritten cards and the option to include a personalized video message with your box.

Yes, depending on timelines and quantity, we can create bespoke boxes, sleeves, cards and video landing pages with your branding or tailored contents. How do I record the video message?
How do I record the video message?
Recording your personalized video message is simple! After placing your order, you’ll receive a link to upload your video. You can record the video on your phone, computer, or tablet using any camera app you're comfortable with. Keep it under 30 seconds to share a personal greeting or message. Once you're happy with it, upload the video through the link provided, and we’ll include a QR code in your card. The recipient can scan the QR code to watch your video message.
